Chaser Mobile App Design
People are tired of matching… only to watch conversations fade and connections disappear. Most platforms focus on the moment of matching, but leave users without meaningful ways to stay engaged afterward.
Instead of stopping at the match, Chaser creates a space for relationships to grow with community-driven features that encourage ongoing interaction both online and in real life.

Design System
I wanted to encourage youthfulness and openness through font and color. From using colors with intention to having user-friendly controls, I aimed to put the user first, establishing a unified design language and fostering consistency across different channels
03 The Challenge
Modern social matching apps aim to connect but fail to help users stay connected. Users report that unless they move to a external social media app, they have a hard time retaining the connection from such apps. Our goal was to provide a platform that helped users discover new connections while also helping them stay connected.
Through research, we found top 2 reasons that discouraged users from retaining new connections.
1. The platform did not provide additional channels to stay connected
2. The connections were mostly based on location rather than something meaningful to the user
Defining the Problem
‘How Might We’ Statements
How might be create additional channels for newly connected users to interact?
How might we understand what qualities in a new connection are meaningful to the user?
How might we provide a more genuine connection?
How might we merge social media components to a matching platform?
04 The Solution
To make new connections more meaningful to the user, we implemented interest based matching for users looking to connect with other users. We added a group based interaction channel where users could create “circles” based on shared interests, participate in discussions, and schedule events in real life. This allowed users to stay engaged beyond a 1 on 1 conversation and created an avenue for users to connect in a group setting.
